Gaza’s first Captain fisherwoman

My husband was injured in September 2025: during an Israeli bombing of the city of Rafah. He was in the hospital for four months and received dozens of operations.

The Freedom Flotilla Coalition was formed following Israel's 2010 raid on the Gaza Freedom Flotilla, which resulted in the deaths of nine activists on board in international waters. Since then, it has organized initiatives to raise global awareness of Gaza's humanitarian needs and called for unrestricted maritime access for the delivery of essential aid.
