So… I am a much loved person. I work in the fishing industry. My husband is a fisherman since he was a young boy. We have five children.
The genocidal campaign on Gaza since 2023 until 2026 has destroyed everything we own, the fishing boats and the houses, and all our dreams. I want to embark on this journey and rebuild my life again.
I am committed to raising my children and I care about their education.
I want to live a dignified life and provide children with food and clothing so they can live their childhood like all other children in the world.
THE TERRIBLE BOMBING THAT CHANGED HER HUSBAND’S LIFE
My husband was injured in September 2025: during an Israeli bombing of the city of Rafah.
He was in the hospital for four months and received dozens of operations. He now suffers from a perforated eardrum, hearing loss, and needs headphones. There are many deep wounds on his body, but he walks, eats, and sleeps normally, thank God.

WITH THE GENOCIDE, THE TIME FOR HUMANITARIAN VOLUNTEERING COMES, SAIS MADLEEN
I worked for many years as a volunteer in the Federation of Labour Committees Agriculture to help fishermen.
I have worked for more than one voluntary organization to provide aid to fishermen and compile their data.
I worked for three months teaching fisherwomen about net maintenance to help their husbands earn money.
Since the beginning of the war I have provided hundreds of food parcels, diapers, straws, flour, children’s clothes, vegetable parcels and cash assistance to fishermen’s families, displaced families and those with sick children. Donations are collected by our friends of Madleen in Canada and from the French Foundation UJFP.
